PAINTING: I have moved back to acrylic on canvas, from cut-out plywood shapes, which dominated my work for ten or so years. I use plenty of iridescent pearl to give my paintings a silky sheen. I abstract everything I paint. I like to think that the viewer brings the meaning. Not what does it mean? -but what is it? And what is it to me? Most recently I have shown work at Three-Square Grill, Bridgeport Brewpub and Multnomah Village Starbucks in Portland. Work has also been shown in solo and group shows at the Littman Gallery at Portland State University, The Multnomah Art Center, The Mark Wooley Gallery, Portland, Studio 21, Portland, the Cambridge Art Association, Cambridge Mass.,The Minneapolis Institute of Art, Minneapolis, Rifle Sport Gallery, Minneapolis, and the Sioux City Art Center, Sioux City, Iowa.
